Socal Spinters Round 1 Championship @ Adams Motorsports Park

First race of the season on the new Avanti chassis. Weather is cloudy and cold but dry. Got some basics set-up from previous practice sessions. Practice 1 and 2 shows some good pace.

Qualified 4th. A big wreck in World Formula involving Terry Nash forced an interruption of the race and the race director changed the schedule giving the TAG senior only a Main Race of 24 laps.

Started 4th and steal the 3th place on the second turn. Got a strong pace during the race and battling for second position. Unfortunately the front weight of the chassis got loose and felt under the chassis which lead me off-track with a stale engine. Time to restart and get back on track in 6th position.

Unfortunate mechanical incident that didn’t lead to a good results for the first race of the season.
